User Info: cidiuscreid cidiuscreid 9 years ago 1 I feel completely foolish, I had seen several people talk about this AR on these boards and I had always assumed it was one of those N7 Collector's Edition bonus weapons. I just figured that anything missable would eventually show up in the stores on the Citadel like quest items, armor pieces or other weapons so I had no idea that the Saber even existed in my game.
Apparently this weapon and the Talon, though that's not as hard to miss, IMO won't ever show up in any of the stores. Anyone else, like me, completely miss the Saber their first time s through the game? Anyway, I'm sure this is old news for a majority, if not all people, but for those of us that did run by it numerous times, its obtainable on the Priority Mission: Horizon.
In the hallway before completing the mission, where you encounter the three Brutes and Banshee, there's a console that you can examine. It will let you manually override the pods in the hallway you're in, just backtrack a little bit and one of the pods should contain the Saber.
To be honest, even after opening the pod, I didn't realize there was anything in there because my reticule wasn't targeting anything and the gun sort of blended into the colour of the inside of the pod. I thought it was odd that I was able to open the pods and for none of them to have anything significant but after I moved my camera around, it finally highlighted the weapon.
